Zain leads engagement strategy and product direction at Cadence. His background spans management consulting at Deloitte, an MBA from Duke University, founding and scaling a digital agency through acquisition, and leading enterprise product strategy at General Motors across vehicle and software platforms. He’s been applying AI within enterprise contexts since 2023, finding leverage at the intersection of strategy, systems thinking, and real organizational complexity. At Cadence, he approaches every engagement the same way: break the business down to its core workflows, find where the invisible expertise lives, and build AI around it.
Tam Nguyen
Co-Founder, Operations & Systems
Tam builds the AI systems, automations, and workflows that make Cadence's extraction engagements run. She spent a decade in fintech at Ramp and Xero implementing technology for national franchises and accounting firms, training hundreds of offices along the way. She learned early that the gap between "built" and "actually used" is where most technology investments die. At Cadence, she closes that gap, wiring together the right tools, building the operational layer, and making sure what gets delivered actually sticks.
Zain Merchant
Co-Founder, Engineering & Backend
Zain M. is the engineering backbone of Cadence. He holds an MSBA from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and brings deep technical fundamentals alongside real AI governance experience from GreenSky. He’s been building with AI since middle school, when he wrote his first chess neural network. At Cadence, he builds the production-grade AI systems, custom agents, and technical infrastructure that turns extraction work into functioning tools embedded in client workflows.
